Box Score 2 HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Quincy University tennis programs' defeated Shepherd University to conclude their week at the PTR Tennis Fest Friday (Mar. 15). The men's team won 6-1 and the women's team swept the Rams 7-0.
Men's
Singles
Brenden Everhart dropped his match 6-3, 6-0 to Carter Davis at No. 1 singles play.
Samuele Contestible won in No.2 singles over Evan Dokken 6-0, 6-1.
In No.3 singles,
Dane Mechali picked up his sixth straight singles win after defeating Kaleb Lochner 6-2, 6-0.
Erik Weiler defeated Nicholas Ferony 6-1, 6-0 in No.4 singles.
In the No. 5 spot,
Patrick Anderson won 6-0, 6-1 over Ryan Cox.
Collin Adams won by default to round out the singles play for the Hawks.
Doubles
Everhart and Weiler fell to the Shepherd pairing of Davis and Dokken 6-3 in No. 1 doubles.
In the No.2 doubles spot, the pairing of Mechali and Anderson defeated Lochner and Cox 6-3.
Contestible and Adams won their match by default.

Rita Kanaeva defeated Zoie O'Neal 6-1, 6-1.
Nicole Lao won by the same margin over her opponent in the No.3 spot.
Makaela Hampton won her contest 6-1, 6-2 over Anna Bock in No.2 singles.
Marta Caballero-Garcia made quick work at No.4 singles, sweeping Valentina Preciado-Bello 6-0, 6-0.
Abby Moore defeated Nicolette Bruley 6-0, 6-2 in the No.5 spot.
Haley Milazzo rounded out the sweep for the Hawks by defeating Claire Dean 6-1, 6-4 in No. 6 singles.

In doubles action,
Anna Konczak and Caballero-Garcia took down the Rams 6-4.
Kanaeva and Moore along with
Alexia Ginter and Milazzo both won their doubles matches 6-1.
