Box Score HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Quincy University women's tennis team fell 7-0 to Slippery Rock University Thursday (Mar. 14) afternoon in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Singles

Rita Kanaeva fell to Lacey Conen 6-0, 6-1 in No. 1 singles.

In the No.2 spot, Makaela Hampton was defeated by Viola Lugmayr 6-0, 6-2.

Nicole Lao was defeated by Lois Page 6-3, 6-1 in No.3 singles.

Marta Caballero-Garcia dropped her match to Olivia Warner 6-0, 6-2 in No.4 singles.

Anna Konczak put up a fight in the second set in No.5 singles but fell to Luaren Fadden 6-2, 7-6 (10-7).

In No.6 singles, Abby Moore was defeated by Allie Welch 6-3, 6-0.

Doubles

Kanaeva and Moore were the only QU pairing to win their doubles match, defeating Fadden and Welch 7-6 after two tie-breakers.
