Box Score HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Quincy University men's tennis team competed against Earlham College Thursday (Mar. 14). The Hawks fell to the Quakers 6-3.

Singles

Dane Mechali defeated Nico Manni 6-2, 6-4 in No. 3 singles to grab QU's first singles point of the match.

Erik Weiler followed up with a tie-breaking win over Nikolaos Trikkas-Psomas 6-2, 6-7, 10-8 in No.4 singles.

In No.1 singles, Brenden Everhart fell to Aitor Zerdilas-Herrera 6-0, 6-1.

Samuele Contestabile lost a second set tie-break to fall to Aleks Sergeev 6-3, 7-6 (7-5) at No.2 singles.

Collin Adams and Patrick Anderson both fell in tie-break fashion. In the No.5 spot, Adams was defeated by Jason Lawson 6-2, 6-7 (5-7), 7-10. Anderson fell to Joaquin Lerner 6-2, 2-6, 6-10 in No.6 singles.

Doubles

Adams and Weiler brought the Hawks their lone doubles point after defeating Manni and Trikkas-Psomas 8-6.
