Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 EVANSVILLE, In. – The men's and women's tennis teams travelled to Evansville, Indiana to face the Screaming Eagles in a non-conference friendly on Friday (Feb. 1). The women defeated USI 4-3 while the men fell 5-2. 

Women's 
Singles
In singles action, Marta Caballero Garcia dropped the number one match 4-6, 6-4, 6-1. The Screaming Eagles also won the number two singles match over QU's Makaela Hampton. 

Nicole Lao was able to get the first win for QU with a 6-2, 6-0 win in the number three's match. Anna Konczak and Abby Moore both won their singles matches for Quincy. Konczak won 2-6, 6-2, 6-4, and Moore won in two sets 6-1, 6-1. 

Doubles
The pairings of Konczak and Nicole Lao held tough for a 7-5 win. Makaela Hampton and Abby Moore also won their doubles match by a 6-1 score to give the women a 4-3 over USI.

Singles
Dane Mechali and Collin Adams were the only Hawks to earn wins in singles action. Mechali won in a thrilling 7-5, 5-7, 10-8 match. Adams defeated USI's Kooper Falkenstein with a 7-5, 6-1 win. 

Doubles
Sam Contestabile and Erik Weiler defeated Spencer Blandford and Martin Linares 6-2 for QU's only victory in doubles action.
