Box Score QUINCY, Ill. - The Quincy University men's tennis team defeated Truman State 8-1 Friday night (Mar. 23).  

The Hawks were perfect in singles competition and dropped just one match in doubles competition in the 8-1 win.  

Danyil Vayser was victorious in No. 1 singles with a 7-6 (7-1), 6-2.  

Michael Lesko won his match 6-4, 6-1 in No. 2 singles.  

Dane Mechali won in No. 3 singles with scores of 6-1, 6-0.

Colin Adams, Erik Weiler, and Wyatt Pauley completed the clean sweep in singles competition.  The Hawks did not lose a set in a singles match.  

In doubles competition, the team of Ryan McMillan and Collin Adams won their doubles match 8-5.  

Dane Mechali and Erik Weiler took the final match of the day with an 8-0 win in No. 3 doubles.  

The Hawks are back in action on Sunday (Mar. 25) against Missouri Valley.
