Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 QUINCY, Ill. - The Quincy University men's and women's tennis teams both defeated Shepherd University Thursday (Mar. 15) afternoon.  

The men's team defeated Shepherd 6-3 and the women's team defeated the Rams 8-1.   

The men's team collected four singles victories and a pair of doubles victories.  Michael Lesko was victorious in No. 2 singles, 3-6, 6-4, 10-7.  Dane Mechali won 6-1, 6-2.  Collin Adams also won in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1.  Erik Weiler won in No. 5 singles 6-2, 6-2.  

The team of Adams and Ryan McMillan won 8-2 in No. 2 doubles and Mechali and Weiler won 8-6.  

The Hawks final match in Hilton Head, SC is tomorrow (Mar. 15) against Kutztown. 

The women's tennis team was nearly perfect in the win over Shepherd, winning 8-1.  

Sydney Lynch won in straight sets 6-2, 6-2.  Rita Kanaeva won 6-4, 6-3 in No. 3 singles.  Abby Moore was victorious 6-0, 6-3.  Anna Konczak also won 6-3, 6-1.  

Lynch and McIsaac won in No. 1 doubles 8-1 and Moore and Konczak won in No. 2 doubles 8-2 to lead the Hawks.  

The Hawks are back in action tomorrow (Mar. 15) against Kutztown.
