Men's Tennis Defeats West Liberty 6-3

Box Score QUINCY, Ill. - The Quincy University men's tennis was victorious over West Liberty University Monday (Mar. 12).  The Hawks won four of the six singles matches and two of the three doubles matches.  

Michael Lesko came back after dropping the first set 6-1.  He took the second set 6-4 and won the tiebreaker 10-6.  

Colin Adams also came from behind after dropping the first set.  He won the second set 6-2 and the tiebreaker 10-6.  

Dane Mechali and Wyatt Pauley each won in straight sets to give the Hawks a 4-2 lead heading into doubles competition.  

The team of Adams and Ryan McMillan won in No. 2 doubles 8-6 to secure the Hawks win.  

In No. 3 doubles the team of Mechali and Weiler were also victorious with an 8-2 win.  

The Hawks are back in action tomorrow against Charleston.
