The Hawks nearly got on the scoreboard in the 2nd minute of play. Abby Pulliam drilled the crossbar and the rebound was cleared away by the Tritons.

UMSL turned up the offensive intensity following the early shot by Pulliam.

Emilee Autry and the Hawks backline were up to the challenge.  Autry faced four shots in the first half and made all four saves.

Quincy was limited to just two shots, none on goal, in the first half and the teams were locked at 0-0.

The Hawks offense could not be contained and got on the board in the 47th minute.  Abby Pulliam drove another long shot toward the goal that was saved by the Triton goaltender.  Off the rebound, Lauren Crane scored off the deflection to give the Hawks a 1-0 lead.

Pulliam was determined to score her 6th goal of the season but was turned away twice in the 59th minute.

The Tritons looked for the equalizer and nearly found it in the 62nd minute.  Casey Lavin sent a shot towards goal and clanged her shot off the crossbar.

In the 83rd minute, Emilee Autry made a save on a shot by Lauren Lottmann of UMSL.  The Hawks were able to transition to the offensive end.

Mary Maloney sent a perfect pass forward to Pulliam.  Pulliam launched a shot from 18 yards out and found the far back corner of the goal to put the Hawks up 2-0.

The Hawks defense maintained the two-goal lead and the Hawks held on for their 10th win of the season.
