Roberts Signs with Saint Louis FC

QUINCY, Ill. - Quincy University men's soccer senior striker Jordan Roberts signed to play with the Saint Louis Football Club of the United Soccer League for the 2015 season.  The announcement was made by Saint Louis FC on Mar. 10.  The team is an official affiliate of the Chicago Fire of the MLS.  

Jordan Roberts finished his career at QU with a semifinal run in the NCAA Division II National Tournament.  Roberts scored 23 goals finishing fourth in the nation in scoring this past season.  He also added seven assists for the Hawks.  The senior striker was named to the NSCAA All-America First Team as well as the Daktronics All-America Second Team.  He was named the GLVC and Daktronics Midwest Region Player of the Year as well as First Team All-GLVC.  The Durham, England native finished his career with 52 goals and 19 assists in a Hawks uniform.  Roberts became the first Hawk to score 20 goals in a season since Matt Vollink in 2000.

The Saint Louis FC will start their regular season slate at Louisville City on Mar. 28.  Their first home game is on Apr. 11 against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds at 7:30 p.m.  Their home games are played at the St. Louis Soccer Park in Fenton, Mo.
