The Lady Hawks started a comeback when Erin Mennemeyer hit a free throw with 5 minutes and 26 seconds to play.  The second free throw bounced out but hit an SJC defender to give QU the ball back.  Erin Mennemeyer hit and jumper and got fouled to send her back to the line.  Mennemeyer hit the free throw to bring the deficit to four points.

After an SJC missed jumper, Anika Webster finished a layup to bring the Lady Hawks within two points of the Pumas with four minutes and 48 seconds remaining.

Lauren Davis hit a jumper for the Pumas to spread the lead back to a two possession game.  Kalea Parks was sent to the line with three minutes remaining and hit both free throws to give SJC a 51-45 lead.
