Justin Bottorff, a Quincy Notre Dame High School graduate and former Quincy University signee, returns to Quincy after spending last season serving as an assistant coach at Concordia University Chicago.
Bottorff became the Cougars full-time assistant coach after a year as the graduate assistant. In his first season, he helped the Cougers to an 8-0 start, the best start to a season since the 1978-79 season. Bottorff then helped CUC to a .500 record and a berth to the Northern Athletic Collegiate Conference.Â
Bottorff played for Hoyt at John Wood during the 2018-19 season, finishing the season with a 6th place finish at the NJCAA DII National Tournament. He finished his successful playing career at Augustana College.Â
