Jerrold King

Jerrold King enters his first season as an assistant coach for the Quincy football team. He will coach the Running Backs for the Hawks.
 
Jerrold King spent the beginning of 2020 interning with Sound Mind Sound Body, a national recruiting service in Detroit, Michigan with Curtis Blackwell, former Michigan State recruiting coordinator.

While there, he coached wide receivers and the 7on7 travel team. He coordinated visits to some of the top programs in the country, including LSU. King helped prospects earn scholarship offers and develop their skills. He also helped organize and run camps.
 
Prior to Sound Mind Sound Body, Jerrold interned with the athletic department at Siena Heights University. While there, he created practice schedules for all fall athletic teams, formed newsletters for the women’s basketball team, sold tickets, and worked operations for Siena's basketball games.  
 
King played wide receiver for four years at Siena Heights University. As a student athlete, he was named 2nd team All-Conference, 1st team all-academic all four years, and was a team leader for the program his senior year.

He is originally from Detroit, Michigan, where he attended Cousino High School. In high school, King was a two-time all-conference wide receiver and was named all-county his senior year. He also ran track and was on the varsity basketball team.
 
King graduated from Siena Heights University in the spring of 2020 with a B.S. in Sport Management. In addition, he will be working on his Master’s degree here at Quincy University.
 
King and his girlfriend, Mya, live in Quincy.
