Abbie Belknap

Abbie Belknap will be entering her first season (2026) with the Hawks as the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach, becoming the second head coach in program history after serving as an assistant for two years.

During her first year with Quincy, Belknap made an immediate impact. She helped guide the team to its first-ever GLVC Tournament appearance in 2024, a historic milestone for the program. That same season, Quincy earned six All-GLVC honors, including the league’s Goalie of the Year award. The Hawks followed that with three more all-conference selections in 2025

Prior to Quincy, Belknap worked as an assistant for the St. Louis Samurai Lacrosse Club, where she focused on developing players through advanced training techniques. She attended Stony Brook University, where she was president of the Stony Brook Women’s Lacrosse Club for 3 years. Belknap led the team in points and caused turnovers, helping contribute to Stony Brook’s undefeated 2021 and 2022 seasons.

Originally from St. Louis, Belknap attended Marquette High School. During her time at Marquette, she accomplished a Missouri Class 4A 2nd and 3rd place state title while also being named 1st team all-conference in 2018. Belknap was invited to participate in the Roslyn L. Schulte Memorial Senior High School Girls All-Star Game in 2018.

Belknap graduated from Stony Brook University with a B.S. in Marine Science and a minor in Ecosystem and Human Impacts.
