Biography
2023-24 (Freshman): In his freshman season, Schnurpel had four wins on the season, all coming by fall. He made his collegiate debut on the mat at the Maryville Open (11/4/23), which is where he picked up his first career win.

Personal: Peyton Schnurpel, from Royal Center, Indiana, attended Pioneer Jr.-Sr. High School, where he competed for the Panthers. He is the son of Lacey and Justin Schnurpel and has two siblings, Mason and Tyler.
Peyton is a talented wrestler, earning HNAC Conference At-Large honors and being named the 2023 Team MVP. He was a two-time conference finalist, a regional placer, and a semi-state qualifier. Outside of sports, he enjoys bowfishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. He admires Peyton Manning and is a fan of the Tennessee Volunteers.
