Biography
2024-25 (Sophomore): Kaden made his collegiate debut at the Luther Hill Invitational (11/2/24), where he picked up two victories in the fresh/soph 125 division, both by tech fall. He had a 3rd-place finish at the Service Salute Open (11/9/24), winning three matches in the open 125 division, with his only defeat being to teammate Brian Farley. At the Dr. Tom Smith Invitational (1/11/25), Rios-Loud was the champion of the open 125 division, winning all three matches. Kaden placed once again at the UCM Roger Denker Open (1/19/25), earning a 4th-place finish.Â

Personal:Â Kaden Rios-Loud is from Springfield, Illinois, and attended Springfield High School, where he competed for the Senators. He comes from a supportive family, including his mother, Genie Rios; grandmother, Christi Rios; grandfather, Mario Rios; brother, Lorenz Rios; and sister, Mireya Rios. His uncle, William Rios, was a collegiate swimmer at Illinois College, contributing to a family legacy in athletics. Kaden has achieved three conference championships, and a regional championship, and is a two-time sectional qualifier. Beyond sports, he enjoys working out, exploring nature, and listening to music. A passionate basketball fan, Kaden supports the Miami Heat.
