Quincy University Hawks

Personal: Ashton Gamboa is from Houston, Texas, and graduated from Cypress Ranch High School, where he was a member of the Mustangs. He is the son of Eduardo Cuevas and Valarie Gamboa.

Academically, Ashton was named to the All-District Academic Team and consistently made the honor roll. He was also part of the College Academy Program, showcasing his commitment to balancing rigorous academics alongside his athletic pursuits.

On the mat, Ashton had an outstanding wrestling career. He was a state qualifier, district winner, and regional placer. He helped lead his team to a District 6A-10 Championship and reached an impressive milestone of 109 career wins.

Outside of wrestling, Ashton enjoys playing games and working out. His favorite athletes are Takuto Otoguro and James Harden.
