Biography
Personal: Julia Chambers, a Mesa, Arizona native, joins the Hawks after an accomplished wrestling career that began in the third grade. A graduate of Skyline High School, she placed in the top 100 of her class academically while excelling on the mat, capturing the 2019 state championship at 125 lbs. and finishing third at state as a senior at 145 lbs. Chambers continued her career collegiately, competing at Waldorf University and later Iowa Western Community College before transferring to QU. She is the daughter of Susan and Alvin Chambers and the older sister of Eva. Outside of wrestling, she enjoys going to the gym, cooking, and spending time in nature. She looks up to FloJo and Ronda Rousey and is a fan of the Las Vegas Raiders.
