Quincy University Hawks

2025-26 (Junior): Niyokusenga competed in her junior season, finishing with a 9-10 overall record and a .474 win percentage. She did not see dual action, but recorded five falls and three tech falls, with eight of her nine victories coming by bonus points. 

Niyokusenga also earned a pair of podium finishes during the season, placing sixth at the North Central College Open (12/14/25) and sixth at the Grand View Open (2/7/26).

2024-25 (Sophomore): Niyokusenga continued to contribute for the Hawks during her sophomore season, finishing with a 16-16 overall record and a .500 win percentage. She went 1-4 in dual action with a .200 dual win percentage, scoring six dual points on the season. Niyokusenga recorded 10 falls, three tech falls, and three decision victories during the year. Niyokusenga also earned a podium finish at the Luther Hill Open, placing fifth.

2023-24 (Freshman): Niyokusenga appeared in her first season with the Hawks, finishing with a 16-22 overall record and a .421 win percentage. She was a regular contributor in dual action, going 9-9 with a .500 dual win percentage while scoring 48 dual points on the season. Niyokusenga recorded 13 falls, with each of her victories coming by fall.

Niyokusenga made her collegiate debut at the Luther Hill Open (11/4/23), where she went 2-2 and picked up the first win of her collegiate career by fall in 58 seconds. She later earned a podium finish at the Luther College Open (11/11/23), placing second.

Personal: Niyokusenga is from St. Louis, Missouri, and graduated from Eureka High School. While at Eureka, she was a football manager for the Wildcats. Florida “Flo” Niyokusenga is the daughter of Selina and Philip and has five siblings: Ariana, Shuku, Hekima, Amina, and Imani. Outside of athletics, she enjoys reading and dancing in her free time.
