2023-24 (Freshman): Angela recorded her first career win at the Luther Hill Open, with a win by a 4-2 decision in the varsity 109 division.

Personal: Hailing from Park Ridge, IL, Angela Lee attended Maine South High School, where she made a name for herself in wrestling. She is the daughter of Chona Lee and has two siblings, Eugene and Annika. Her brother, Eugene, wrestled at Elmhurst University (2022-2024), earning titles as a state qualifier, CSL champion, and two-time regional champion.

Angela’s academic and athletic achievements are equally impressive. She was recognized as a CSL Scholastic Athlete and was named Female Athlete of the Year and MVP of the Year. As a three-time varsity wrestler, she served as team captain and earned All-State honors. Her success extended to the Class 3A State Championships and helped lead her team to a CSL Conference Championship. 

Outside of wrestling, Angela enjoys baking and cooking. She admires Japanese wrestler Yui Susaki and follows the University of Iowa Wrestling program.
