Biography

Personal: Amayah Myszak, from Schererville, Indiana, attended Lake Central High School, where she was a dedicated student and athlete. She is the daughter of Elaine and Jeff Myszak and has three siblings: Alex, Emma, and Ethan. Her father, Jeff, played baseball at Calumet College, influencing her own passion for sports. Amayah was recognized for her achievements in academics and athletics, earning membership in the National Technical Honor Society and receiving the Most Improved Varsity Award. She excelled in competitions like Skills USA, where she placed third at the state level, and she was a state qualifier in her sport, finishing fourth at regionals.

Beyond athletics, Amayah enjoys art, drawing, reading, working out, and traveling the world. She finds inspiration in athletes such as Nadia Comaneci, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Aubrey Kingsbury, and Megan Rapinoe. A true sports fan, she supports teams like the Chicago White Sox, Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Chicago Bears, Pittsburgh Steelers, Boston Celtics, and New York Giants.

Amayah is passionate about community involvement and values opportunities to give back. While she may come off as shy or even intimidating at first, she genuinely enjoys helping others and making a difference. She looks forward to engaging in campus life, making new friends, and participating in student activities beyond athletics to enhance her overall college experience.
