Personal: Whitaker is from Country Club Hills, Illinois, and attended Rich Township High School, where she competed for the Raptors. She is the daughter of Todd and Nicole Whitaker and has two siblings, Tylar and Harper. Her father, Todd, played football at Western Michigan University from 1994-99.

Whitaker was a member of the National Honor Society in 2025 and 2026. She was a four-year, three-sport athlete and 12-time varsity letterwinner, while also being named the 2026 RTHS Female Athlete of the Year. She earned Volleyball Player of the Year and Softball Player of the Year honors, was an All-Conference selection in both volleyball and softball, and was named MVP in both volleyball and softball in 2026.

Whitaker also helped her team win a 2025-26 volleyball conference championship. Away from the court, she enjoys working out, bike riding, and spending time with friends. Her favorite athlete is Kansas Robinson.
