Personal: Blaike Knolhoff, from Centralia, Illinois, attended Centralia High School, where she excelled both academically and athletically. She is the daughter of Kurt and Melissa Knolhoff and has a sister, Reece, who played volleyball at Kaskaskia College from 2018 to 2019. Volleyball runs in the family, as her mother, Melissa, also played at Kaskaskia College from 1986 to 1987.

Blaike was a dedicated student, earning High Honor Roll recognition all four years, serving as Vice President of the National Honor Society, and holding the role of Parliamentarian in the Student Council. She also shined on the volleyball court, receiving multiple accolades, including first-team and second-team All-Conference honors, being named All-South three times, and making the Prep Volleyball Watchlist for the Class of 2023. Her team won the South 7 Conference Championship in both 2022 and 2023, secured 3A Regional Championships in 2019 and 2022, and claimed a 3A Sectional Championship in 2019. In recognition of her achievements, she was named Centralia High School’s Female Athlete of the Year and received the Scholar-Athlete Award for four consecutive years.

Blaike has played volleyball since fifth grade and has competed in multiple positions, including libero, middle, and outside hitter. Off the court, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her dogs, and hanging out with friends. She admires Anna DeBeer, a standout volleyball player at the University of Louisville, and is a passionate fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. Blaike has also been actively involved in her community through a local service group, participating in initiatives such as Clean Up Centralia, the Fairview Park Food Drive, and Mission Centralia.

Why QU?
I chose QU because after seeing the campus and practicing with the team, it felt like home. I loved the atmosphere in the gym and everyone was so ecouraging while striving to be better while still having fun.
