Quincy University Hawks

Personal: Ateezah Churchwell is a native of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and a graduate of Mustang High School. She is the daughter of LaTeesha and Tony Churchwell and has two siblings, Anthony and Amartrell. Churchwell competed at the highest level of Oklahoma high school athletics, helping her program capture the Class 6A State Championship. Her experience in championship-level competition reflects her ability to perform on big stages and contribute to team success.

Why QU?
My decision to attend Quincy University was due to wanting a place that had an excellent education and a supportive community. I was impressed with the small class sizes and how much the professors cared about their students - I didn't want to be another face in the crowd. I also appreciated the friendliness of everyone I spoke with, as well as their dedication to their values. By the end of my first visit, it felt like home. The campus is beautiful, and I was so impressed with the way the school supports student success and personal growth. I was looking for an environment that would push me academically, while also giving me opportunities to foster relationships and connections that will last a lifetime, and Quincy offered me that.
