Ethan Arns enters his second year as head coach for the Hawk tennis program (2021-22).
Arns comes to QU with a wealth of coaching experience at the Quincy Racquet Club and Quincy Notre Dame High School over the past six years.
During his time at the Quincy Racquet Club, Arns provided tennis instruction to all ages, including large groups. He also collaborated with tennis professionals in the coordination of marketing and organization of various tennis camps.
Arns served as the head coach for women’s tennis at Quincy Notre Dame High School during the 2016-17 season. His team finished the regular season as sectional champions with a 10-1 record, and five players qualified for the state tournament.
Originally from Quincy, Arns earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from QU in 2015, and he competed for the Hawks’ tennis team from 2011-2015.
While an athlete at QU, Arns compiled 38 singles wins and 47 doubles wins during his four-year playing career.
