Quincy University Hawks

Personal: Faith Cummings hails from Columbia, Missouri, where she attended Hickman High School, competing as a Kewpie swimmer. She is the daughter of K.C. and Rose Cummings, with her father, K.C., being a professional swimmer.

Academically accomplished, Faith was a four-year All-Academic honoree and an early college recipient. In the pool, she was a four-year varsity swimmer, a state finalist, and earned national rankings in the 100-yard breaststroke. She placed 4th at the Missouri State Championships and was nominated for Missouri Athlete of the Year.

Beyond swimming, she enjoys hiking, lifting, painting, and movies. She looks up to Sierra Schmidt, Missy Franklin, and Nathan Adrian and supports the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Faith has lived in 13 different places worldwide and competes with a pro club team during the summer. She is also involved on campus as an RA and helps manage both the campus and swim team's social media accounts.

Why QU?
I chose QU because as soon as I visited the campus and met the staff, I knew that Quincy was the place for me. I loved how welcoming and friendly everyone was, and I would love to be a part of a community like that. I also really loved the fact that I would be part of a new swim team and be able to create something new and original with the support of the Quincy community.
