2025 (Junior): As a junior, Beretti put together one of the most impressive individual seasons in Quincy women’s volleyball history, emerging as one of the premier outside hitters in NCAA Division II. She appeared and started in all 31 matches, playing 111 sets, and totaled 534 kills, third most in the nation, while averaging 4.81 kills per set, which ranked fourth nationally. Beretti hit .264 on the season and added 40 service aces (0.36 per set), sixth in the GLVC, along with 431 digs (3.88 per set), eighth in the conference, and 26.0 blocks (0.23 per set). She finished the year with 591.5 points, averaging 5.33 points per set, with both marks ranking first in the GLVC and inside the top 10 nationally.
Her 534 kills ranked second in single-season program history, and during the season Beretti surpassed 1,000 career points, kills, and digs. She recorded double-digit kills in 29 of 31 matches, including 12 performances with at least 20 kills. Beretti also tallied 23 double-doubles in kills and digs and posted six matches with 20 or more digs, highlighted by a 30-dig performance in the GLVC Tournament against Rockhurst (11/22/25).

2024 (Sophomore): As a sophomore, Susanna appeared and started in all 31 games for the Hawks, totaling 118 sets, where she had 478 kills (4.05 K/S), 81 assists, 434 digs (3.68 D/S), and 44 service aces. She had double-digit kills in all but three games, and had a season-high 27 kills in the opening game of the season against Anderson (SC) (9/6/24). She also had 25 double-digit dig games, with her season-high coming against McKendree (11/9/24), where she had 27.

2023 (Freshman): In her first season with the Hawks, Susanna appeared in all 30 matches, starting in 29, where she totaled 114 sets. She was third on the team, with 282 kills (2.47 K/S) and 31 service aces. She was second on the team with 74 assists and led the Hawks with 414 digs (3.63 D/S). She made her collegiate debut against Tiffin (9/1/23), where she had 10 kills and nine digs. She had 17 games with double-digit kills and had a season-high 18 against Upper Iowa (9/9/23). Susanna also had 22 games with double-digit digs, with five games having 20 or more digs. She had a season-high 26 digs against Southwest Baptist (10/21/23).

Personal: Susanna is from Milan, Italy, where she attended Polo Scolastico Carlo Urbani. She is the daughter of Laura Pompei and Marco Beretti and the sister of Thomas and Luca. Outside of volleyball, Susanna enjoys reading, walking, and drawing.
