Quincy University Hawks

2024 (Sophomore): Reegan appeared and started in all 17 games for the Hawks, where she scored three goals and dished out an assist for a total of seven points. Hess played a total of 1167 minutes, scoring her first career goal against Illinois-Springfield (9/22/24) and earned her first career point with an assist against Lewis (9/15/24). Hess scored her first game-winning goal in a 3-1 victory over Rockhurst (10/13/24).

2023 (Freshman): As a freshman, Hess saw action in 12 games, making two starts, where she totaled 272 minutes and took five shots. She made her collegiate debut against Davenport (9/1/23) and earned her first career start against Truman State (9/22/23).

Personal: Reegan Hess comes to Quincy from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Prairie High School. Reegan had a decorated soccer career with the Hawks, notching three first-team All-Metro honors and three first-team All-conference honors. She was dubbed second team all-state, second team All-Eastern Iowa, Iowa All-Elite Team, and was the Mississippi Valley Conference Player of the Year. She broke Prairie High School's most goals in a season and career goals records. Outside of soccer, she was a member of the National Honor Society and Key Club and maintained a GPA over 4.0 throughout high school. She is a member of the Iowa Raptors WPSL team, which is a semi-professional summer league. She enjoys volunteering at her local Humane Society and food bank. Her parents are Devon and Jodi, and she has one sibling, Rowan. 

Why QU?
I chose Quincy for the family-like atmosphere, and the immediate connection I felt with the soccer program. I feel confident with the relationships that will be formed both academically and athletically, as well as within the community!
