2023 (Junior): In her first season with the Hawks, Nguyen appeared in all 17 games, starting in 11, for a total of 1241 minutes. She scored three goals on six shots. Her first career goal in a Hawk uniform came against Eastern New Mexico (9/10/23), where she scored two goals.
2022 (Sophomore at Portland CC): Paige appeared and started in 12 games, where she scored nine goals and dished out one assist for a total of 19 points. Three of the goals were game-winners. Her first career goal came in a 5-0 win over Blue Mountain (9/3/22). The first career multi-goal game came in the following game against Clackamas (9/7/22).
2021 (Freshman at Portland CC): In her first season with the Panthers, Nguyen appeared in ten games, making six starts, for a total of 347 minutes, where she took two shots, pinning both on net. She made her collegiate debut against Bellevue (8/31/21).
Personal: Paige Nguyen, from Magna, Utah, attended Cyprus High School, where she was a standout multi-sport athlete for the Pirates. She is the daughter of Kristina and Long Nguyen and has siblings named Alec and Cade.
During her high school career, Paige earned an impressive 10 varsity letters across soccer, cross country, and track and field. She continued her athletic career at Portland Community College, where she played women’s soccer for two years and was named to the conference all-star team.
Beyond sports, Paige enjoys cooking, reading, and hiking. She looks up to athletes such as Kobe Bryant, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Christen Press, Mallory Pugh, and Michael Phelps. Her favorite teams include Real Salt Lake, the LA Lakers, Manchester United, and the Portland Thorns.
