Personal: Kreitler is from St. Louis, Missouri, and attended Oakville High School, where she competed for the Tigers. She is the daughter of John and Michelle and has one sister, Jordan. Kreitler earned Honorable Mention honors during her sophomore season of varsity soccer.

Away from the field, she enjoys spending time with friends. Her favorite athletes are Crystal Dunn, Cristiano Ronaldo, Tobin Heath, and Alex Morgan, while her favorite teams are Real Madrid and the Kansas City Chiefs.
