Background:
Vaughn is from St. Charles, Mo and is a nursing student at Quincy University. She is the daughter of Steve and Tina, and has two siblings Taylor (24) and Abby (15). Vaughn’s sister Taylor played soccer at Drury University (14-18) and her father Steve played soccer at Sangamon State University. Vaughn attended Incarnate Word Academy and graduated with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Vaughn was a member of the National Honor’s Society, graduated in the 10% percent of her class and was named to the Academic All Conference team during her time at IWC. Vaughn played under Beth Sims and Jennifer Mers for the Red Knights. The defender helped her squad to a second place finish in state during the 2018 season.
