Biography
2025 (Redshirt Sophomore): In her second season with the Hawks, Tell saw action in 12 matches, totaling 214 minutes while recording one goal and two assists for four points. She made her collegiate debut in the season opener against Purdue Northwest (9/4/25) and scored her first career goal in a 2–0 win over Upper Iowa (9/26/25). Her first career assist came in a 2–0 victory over Truman State (10/3/25), assisting on the game-winning goal.

Personal: Emma Tell is from Swansea, Illinois, and graduated from Althoff Catholic High School, where she played for the Crusaders. She is the daughter of Chris Tell and Dana Ferguson and has five siblings: Christian, Audrey, Hayden, Drew, and Keegan.
During high school, Emma served as team captain and was named First Team All-Conference. She was also a member of the Class 1A Illinois State Championship soccer team in 2021. After high school, she attended Maryville University for her freshman year, where she played women’s soccer.
Emma enjoys going on runs and spending time with her family. Her favorite athletes are Mallory Swanson, Rose Lavelle, and Sophia Smith, and she supports KC Current and STL City SC.
Why QU?
I chose QU because of the family-like environment. I also felt like I could be challenged on the field and in the classroom.
