Biography
Career (2022–25): Across four seasons, Wolfard appeared and started all 68 matches played by the Hawks, totaling 5,146 minutes on the attack. She finished her career with 22 goals, including seven game-winners, and seven assists for 51 points. Wolfard wore the captain’s armband in every match during the final two seasons of her career and, as a senior, helped lead the Hawks back to the GLVC Tournament for the first time since the 2020–21 season and to their first time hosting since 2018.

2025 (Senior): In her senior season, Wolfard put together a career year, appearing and starting every match for the fourth consecutive season while totaling 1,321 minutes on the Hawks’ attack and wearing the captain’s armband in each contest. She recorded single-season career highs with eight goals—including three game-winners—and four assists for 20 points. Her totals in shots, goals, game-winning goals, and points all ranked among the top 10 in the GLVC.

2024 (Junior): Serving as a captain, Wolfard led the team in goals with four while also adding an assist. She appeared and started all 17 matches and recorded her first career multi-goal performance with two goals in a 4–0 win over Lincoln (10/27/24).

2023 (Sophomore): Wolfard started all 17 matches and led the team with seven goals, placing 19 shots on goal. She scored the lone goal in a Senior Day win over Southwest Baptist (10/8/23) and found the net again in a crucial tie against Indianapolis (10/27/23).

2022 (Freshman): As a freshman, Wolfard started 16 matches, scoring three goals and adding two assists. Her first career goal came against Missouri S&T (9/18/22) and stood as the game-winner. She recorded her first career assists with a two-assist performance against Maryville (9/25/22).

Personal: Daughter of Kate and Jason Wolfard, Ella Wolfard comes to Quincy from St. Louis, Missouri. Ella played soccer and basketball at Lindbergh High School where she was a captain of both teams her senior year and captain of her basketball team her junior year. She earned first team and second team all-conference nods her junior and senior years. Ella was also a scholar athlete from 2021 to 2022. Her favorite athlete is Mallory (Pugh) Swanson and she loves to watch the US Women's National Team and St. Louis sports teams. She has two siblings, Anabel and Luke.
