Biography

Background:
Claire is a native of Corvallis, Oregon and will be an Elementary Education major at QU. She is the daughter of Jeff and Barb Macy, and she has an older brother, Will. Claire's mother attended QU in 1990 along with her cousin, Blake Allison, who played football for the Hawks from 2011-2016. Claire attended Crescent Valley High School under the direction of Blake Leamy where she was a 5A Oregon State Champion in 2018 and 2019. Macy received All-State honors in 2018 and 2019 and was also named the Mid-Willamette Player of the Year in 2019. Claire also participated in track and field for three years as a javelin thrower. She graduated with a 3.6 GPA and was a member of the National Honors Society. 

Why I chose QU
I liked the small, tight knit family atmosphere.
