Quincy University Hawks

2024 (Sophomore): In her second season, Abby appeared in 16 games, starting in 14, where she played 844 minutes on the defensive end for the Hawks. She recorded her first career point with an assist against Lewis (9/15/24).

2023 (Freshman): Played in seven games, starting five, accumulating 260 minutes in her freshman campaign as a defender.

Personal: A Rochester, Illinois native, Abby Jerszynski comes to Quincy after a stellar career with the Rochester High School Rockets. The Rockets won three regional championships during Abby's tenure, and she was named CS8 Conference Honorable Mention and All-Sectional Sportsmanship recipient her senior year. She was an academic all-conference selection in her last three years of high school and was a part of the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, and the high honor roll. She enjoys exercising, traveling, and shopping, and her favorite athlete is Julie Ertz. She has two siblings, a twin sister named Maddy and a brother, PJ, who played baseball at Truman State. Her parents are Pete and Kalynn Jerszynski.

Why QU?
I chose Quincy University because I really enjoyed the feel of the campus, the welcoming coaching staff, and the distance from home.
