Quincy University Hawks

Personal: Katie Lato is from St. Louis, Missouri, and attended Oakville High School. She is the daughter of Steve and Laura Lato and has two sisters, Stephanie and Julie. Academically, Katie maintained a 4.2 GPA. Athletically, she excelled in both field hockey and lacrosse, earning 1st Team All-Conference honors in both sports, being named Defensive Player of the Year in field hockey, and serving as captain of the lacrosse team for two years. She also received the Award of Excellence for Sportsmanship, Ethics, and Integrity. Outside of athletics and academics, Katie enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite athlete is Yadier Molina, and she supports the St. Louis Cardinals.

Why QU?
I chose QU because I loved the lacrosse team and the campus. It felt like the right fit for me.
