Biography

2025 (Sophomore): Moran turned into a prolific goal scorer for the Hawks in her sophomore season, scoring 59 goals across 16 games. She was also a key in the circle, winning 55 draw controls. She also broke the single-season record with 13 woman-up goals, with the previous record being 10. Anni had two game-winning goals, including an overtime goal to take down Northern Michigan (3/5/25). She scored more than two goals in all but two games and had four or more goals eight different times, including a season-high nine goals against Thomas More (2/15/25).

2024 (Freshman): In her freshman season, Anni appeared in all 19 games, making 17 starts, where she scored 24 goals and dished out two assists. She also scooped up ten ground balls, caused four turnovers, and had 11 draw controls. Moran scored her first collegiate goal against Northern Michigan (2/18/24), which was also her first career multi-goal game.

Personal: Annika Moran hails from Owatonna, Minnesota, and Owatonna High School, where she ran cross country and played basketball and lacrosse for the Huskies. As a Huskie, Moran broke the record for most points in girl’s lacrosse. In addition to being a three-sport athlete, Moran played in the band and was a part of the National Honor Society. Moran is a Minnesota sports fan and enjoys reading, completing Sudoku puzzles, and camping in her free time. She is the daughter of Peggy and Jeremy and has three siblings, Al, Abram, and Amelia. Her mother, Peggy, was a dual sport athlete at Bemidji State, playing basketball and volleyball in the late nineties.

Why QU?
I chose Quincy University because I really liked the close-knit community feel of QU and the lacrosse team!
