Biography
Personal: Ava Certa is from Godfrey, Illinois, and attended Marquette Catholic High School, where she was a proud member of the Explorers athletic program. She is the daughter of Joseph and Christine Certa and has two siblings, Olivia and Julian.
Throughout her high school career, Ava distinguished herself both academically and athletically. She was a Silver Medallion recipient and earned the MVP award for her athletic achievements. One of her proudest team accomplishments was helping lead Marquette Catholic to the 2023 Gateway Metro Conference Championship.
Outside of athletics, Ava enjoys running, spending time with her friends, and shopping. Her well-rounded interests reflect her energetic and social personality.

I chose QU because I wanted the chance to run at the next level. I also like the campus and atmosphere.Â
