Quincy University Hawks

2023 (Freshman): Taryn played in five games, starting one, and acquired 130 minutes in a true freshman season.

Personal: Taryn Richey hails from Brentwood, California, having attended Heritage High School prior to Quincy University. She was a four-year varsity soccer player with the Patriots and was crowned BVAL Conference Champions during her time. In addition to soccer, track & field runs in her family. Taryn was a two-time Junior Olympic Medalist for javelin, having learned from her father Dallas who was a two-time all-conference thrower for Fresno State. Her brother, Calvin, currently runs cross country and track & field at the University of Dubuque. Her hobbies include reading, photography, and creating through graphic design. 

Why QU?
I chose QU because after visiting the school and meeting the coaches, I felt as though Quincy University was the best fit for me with the soccer program and aviation programs.
