In her first season at the helm of the Women’s Basketball program, Coach Bailey saw improvements from the start. They achieved the most overall wins in a season since 2015, the most conference wins since 2016. They were 4th in the GLVC with 63.7 Points per game allowed, and 4th in the GLVC with a 76% free throw percentage.

Kaci Bailey enters her first year (2021-22) as the Head Women's Basketball Coach at Quincy University. Bailey was hired in April of 2021. 

Bailey earned a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and a master’s from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She was a Missouri Valley All-Conference Scholar-Athlete and a member of the Southern Illinois Women’s Basketball Conference Championship team in 2007.

Coach Bailey was an assistant coach at George Mason from 2017 through 2020. During Bailey’s tenure at George Mason, the women’s basketball program set a single-season school record for wins with 24 and won a postseason game for the first time in program history. In addition, Bailey coached the conference player of the year and rookie of the year and achieved a team GPA of 3.58.

Prior to joining George Mason, Bailey was the assistant women’s basketball coach and recruiting coordinator at Wichita State University and the University of Central Arkansas. She also served in the same role at Henderson State University, where she had the additional role of interim head women’s basketball coach for six months.
