2024 (Junior): In his first season with the Hawks, Schattin had 42 punts for a total of 1591 yards, which was an average of 37.88 yards per punt. He had six punts land inside the 20 and a long of 68 yards.

Personal: Schattin, from Brisbane, Australia, attended Weddington High School, where he played for the Warriors. He was a state champion in football, a 3A state champion, and a Ray Guy Award winner in high school. He is the son of Michael and Manal Schattin and has three siblings: Christian, Jake, and Bianca. He has two uncles that were Australian arm wrestling champions and ranked worldwide. Outside of sports, Alex enjoys cooking and fishing. He admires Tom Brady and Michael Jordan and is a fan of Chelsea FC and the New England Patriots.
