Biography
2024 (Junior): In his first season with the Hawks, Anders saw action in two games, making his collegiate debut against Bellarmine (9/14/24), where he returned a kickoff for 28 yards. In his second game against Oakland City (10/19/24), Trayton made three tackles on the defensive end to go along with 1.5 tackles for loss and one sack.
Personal: Trayton Anders, a native of La Harpe, Illinois, graduated from Illini West High School, where he was a five-sport varsity athlete, competing in football, golf, basketball, baseball, and track. He went on to attend John Wood Community College before transferring to QU. One of his standout athletic moments came when he qualified for the state meet in track. Outside of athletics, Trayton enjoys spending time with friends and watching sports. He looks up to athletes like Drew Brees, Terrance Shannon Jr., and Alvin Kamara, and his favorite teams include the New Orleans Saints, St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago Bulls, and the University of Illinois football and men’s basketball programs.
Why QU?
I chose QU because it is a local university that allowed me to continue playing football.
