Quincy University Hawks

2024 (Sophomore): In his second season with the Hawks, Nate appeared in three games and recorded his first career tackle against Oakland City (10/19/24).

2023 (Freshman): As a freshman, Engler appeared in six games on the offensive line for the Hawks, helping QU rush for 652 yards and pass for over 1000. He made his collegiate debut against Fontbonne (9/14/23).

Personal: Engler is from Marine, Illinois, where he attended Triad High School and competed for the Knights. During his high school career, he was a two-time IHSA All-Academic football player, a three-time IHSA All-Conference football player, and an All-Conference wrestler. He also helped Triad win the Mississippi Valley Conference title twice.

Nate is the son of Kerry Apken and James Engler and has two siblings, Libby and Riley. In his free time, he enjoys working out, spending time with his family, and watching the Washington Commanders.
