Biography
2024 (Sophomore): In his second season with the Hawks, Nate appeared in three games and recorded his first career tackle against Oakland City (10/19/24).
2023 (Freshman): As a freshman, Engler appeared in six games on the offensive line for the Hawks, helping QU rush for 652 yards and pass for over 1000. He made his collegiate debut against Fontbonne (9/14/23).
Personal: Nate Engler is from Marine, Illinois. Attending Triad High School, Engler was a two-time IHSA all-academic football player, a three-time IHSA all-conference player, and an all-conference wrestler. His team won the MVC twice during his time with the Knights. His hobbies include working out, hanging out with his family, and watching the Washington Commanders. His parents are Kerry Apken and James Engler, and he has two siblings, Libby and Riley.
