Personal: Morgan Simms is from Lynchburg, Tennessee, and attended Moore County High School, where he played for the Raiders. He is the son of Brandy Huffman and Phillip Hanberry, and has siblings Edan Hanberry and Cade Baker. Morgan earned significant recognition during his high school career, being named 3x All-State on offense and 5x All-State Academic. He also played in two Class 1A State Championship games. Outside of athletics, Morgan enjoys sleeping in his hammock. His favorite athlete is Johnny Manziel and is a devoted fan of the Tennessee Volunteers. He also contributes to his community as a youth counselor and tutor.

Why QU?
I chose QU because the coaching staff here felt more transparent and clear about intentions and expectations than other teams. The fact that nothing was promised and I was told everything would be earned. I wanted a place to grow as an individual and as a part of this community.
