Personal: Marlon Poindexter Jr., from Alton, Illinois, is the son of Rausheeta Gates and the brother of Raushad. A standout at Alton High School, he earned Honorable Mention All-Conference honors as part of the Redbirds program. Outside of sports, Marlon enjoys watching football. His favorite athletes are James Harden and Ezekiel Elliott, and he is a big supporter of the Dallas Cowboys.
