Quincy University Hawks

Background:
Norton is a Lanark, IL native and is a Business Management major at Quincy University. Norton is the daughter of Jeff and Angie, and she has an older sister Grace (21). Norton is a graduate of Eastland High School, where she ended with an outstanding 4.14 GPA. Norton was recognized for the National Honors Society (Secretary), Illinois State Scholar, Salutatorian, and the National Spanish Exam Honorable Mention (3 years). Norton won three Softball Conference Champions (2017, 2018, 2019) and the Class 1A Softball Regional Championship in 2019. Norton earned four varsity letters in golf where the team won a Class 1A Golf Regional Title in 2018, along with winning Class 1A Golf Conference 2nd place individually in 2018.  Norton was a three time MVP on the golf team and was named to the All-Conference team. Norton was also named to the All-State team her Sophomore and Junior year in softball. 

Why I chose QU
I chose Quincy University because of the family atmosphere that not only surrounds the softball field, but the entire university. Quincy is geared to help me succeed in life as a student, an athlete, and a person. It allowed me to go to a school I love and to play the game I love.
