Quincy University Hawks

2025 (Junior): Severson appeared in 15 matches and totaled 41 total sets, serving as a serve specialist for the Hawks. Try had three assists, three service aces, and three digs on the season. He recorded his first career ace during the opening game of the season against Roosevelt (1/16/25).

2023 (Freshman): Appeared in one match as a freshman, making his collegiate debut against St. Ambrose (2/4/23), where he saw action in one set and recorded two assists.

Personal: Trey Severson hails from Prescott, Wisconsin, where he graduated from Prescott High School, home of the Cardinals. Trey is the son of Merle and Kollyn Severson and has three siblings: Logan, Morgan, and Kianna. Trey graduated magna cum laude and was deeply involved in volleyball throughout high school, serving as the Women’s Volleyball Manager for four years. His dedication to the sport extended beyond school as he was named to the AVCA All-American Watch List for club volleyball. Outside of academics and athletics, Trey enjoys cooking and baking.

Why QU?
I chose Quincy University to further my academic and athletic career. Quincy has a strong business program and that was great because I came into the year undecided, but knew I wanted to go the business route. The opportunity to play in the MIVA highly influenced my choice as well because this conference is full of high-level competition.
