2025-26 (Redshirt Junior): Runsewe appeared in all 28 games during her redshirt junior season, making one start. She averaged 4.8 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 0.8 assists across 14.5 minutes per game.

Runsewe shot 38.1 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from three-point range, and 73.7 percent from the free throw line. She scored in double figures three times, including a season-high 12 points against Upper Iowa (12/1/25). Runsewe made the first start of her career against Missouri-St. Louis (2/14/26), scoring eight points while knocking down two three-pointers.

2022-23 (Freshman): Runsewe appeared in 16 games during her freshman season with the Hawks, totaling 36 points, 10 rebounds, two blocks, and four steals. She made her collegiate debut against Rogers State (11/19/22), playing three minutes and grabbing one rebound. Runsewe scored in double figures for the first time against Hannibal-LaGrange (11/22/22), finishing with 17 points.

Personal: Sydney comes from DeLaSalle High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she was a four-time letter winner in basketball. A 1,000-point scorer, she averaged 18.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.8 steals, 1.4 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game during her junior season. She is a two-time All-Conference selection, an All-State Honorable Mention, and is ranked among the Top 25 players in Minnesota by Minnesota Prep Girls Hoops. Sydney helped lead DeLaSalle to a state championship in 2019 and was part of the 2020 team that was named Co-State Champions after the season was cut short due to the pandemic. She is the daughter of Afolabi and Tracy Runsewe.
