Biography
Career (2022-26): Schultz played two seasons at Delta College, one season at Mott Community College, and two seasons with the Hawks. Across 308 career at-bats, he hit .334 with a .444 on-base percentage, .604 slugging percentage, and 1.048 OPS.
Schultz totaled 103 hits, 22 doubles, 11 triples, 13 home runs, 44 walks, and 19 hit by pitches. On the mound, he made 13 relief appearances, posting a 2-0 record with one save across 13.1 innings pitched. He finished with a 3.37 ERA, 1.87 WHIP, and 15 strikeouts.
2026 (Redshirt Senior): Schultz contributed as a two-way player during his redshirt senior season. At the plate, he appeared in 19 games with 11 starts, hitting .325 with a .391 on-base percentage and .575 slugging percentage. He recorded five doubles, one triple, one home run, seven RBIs, 14 runs scored, and three stolen bases.
Schultz finished with three multi-hit games, highlighted by a 3-for-4 performance against Roosevelt (2/20/26), where he drove in three runs, scored three times, and finished a double shy of the cycle. On the mound, Schultz made six relief appearances, four of which were scoreless. He went 1-0 with a 2.25 ERA, 1.75 WHIP, 11 strikeouts, and a .235 opponent batting average across 8.0 innings.
2025 (Junior): Schultz contributed both at the plate and on the mound during his first season with the Hawks. Offensively, he hit .250 across 32 at-bats, recording one triple, two home runs, and six RBIs.
On the mound, Schultz tossed 3.2 innings and earned one save. He made his Quincy debut with a scoreless inning against Georgia Southwestern (2/20/25), then picked up his first career save against Colorado School of Mines (3/1/25) after throwing a scoreless inning in an 8-6 win. At the plate, Schultz hit his first home run in a Hawk uniform against Drury (3/28/25).
2024 (Sophomore at Mott CC): In 45 games and 150 at-bats, Quinn put together a slash line of .340/.429/.653 and drove in 45 RBIs. He had 11 doubles, six triples, and eight home runs. Schultz was also perfect on the bases, stealing 18 bags in 18 tries.
2023 (Sophomore at Delta College): Went 2-5 at the plate and also threw 1.2 scoreless innings on the mound with four strikeouts.
2022 (Freshman at Delta College): Appeared in 31 games, where he hit .364 with two home runs, 13 RBIs, 17 runs scored, and eight stolen bases. He had a .490 on-base percentage and a .584 slugging percentage in 77 at-bats.
