Quincy University Hawks

2026 (Junior): Mendiola served as one of the Hawks’ two primary catchers during his first season at Quincy, appearing in 26 games with 25 starts. He hit .250 with a .330 on-base percentage and a .303 slugging percentage, recording four doubles and 12 RBIs.

Behind the plate, Mendiola was steady defensively, posting a .995 fielding percentage with just one error in 216 chances. He also caught eight would-be base stealers and allowed only two passed balls.

2025 (Sophomore at St. Louis): Mendiola appeared in 32 games and made 19 starts during his sophomore season at St. Louis. He totaled nine hits, including two doubles and one home run, while driving in seven runs.

Behind the plate, Mendiola recorded 160 putouts and eight assists while throwing out four attempted base stealers. He made his first collegiate start in a 5-0 win over North Alabama (2/22/25), and his first career home run came on a two-run shot against St. Bonaventure (3/28/25).

2024 (Freshman at St. Louis): Mendiola appeared in eight games during his freshman season at St. Louis. He went 1-for-3 at the plate and recorded nine putouts defensively.

Mendiola picked up the first hit and RBI of his collegiate career with a run-scoring single in a 19-5 win over Le Moyne (3/3/24).
